When you join the Maitra early access waitlist, we collect your email address, first name, dining city, and cuisine preferences through our waitlist form. We only collect information you choose to provide.

We use your data to confirm your early access registration, personalise your onboarding when Maitra launches, and contact you with product updates, launch information, and relevant communications about the service. The legal basis for processing your data is your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form.

Your data passes through Typeform and Zapier as part of our intake process. These services act as data processors and are bound by their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.

We use PostHog for analytics, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). PostHog only initialises after you grant cookie consent through CookieHub. We do not run analytics before consent is given.

CookieHub manages cookie consent on our website. Analytics cookies are only set after you explicitly grant consent. You can update or withdraw your preferences at any time through the CookieHub consent banner.

Waitlist data is stored in MongoDB Atlas, hosted in the United Kingdom and the European Union. We retain your data until you request deletion or until Maitra launches and your data is migrated to the app, whichever comes first.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to request deletion of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights contact us at hello@maitra.app.
